Budapest Water Summit
UPDATE The Budapest Water Summit took place from 28-30 November 2016- it served as a platform for discussion for heads of state and other stakeholders from all over the world. It was the first Budapest Water Summit to host a Women’s Forum. Women for Water Partnership co-organised this event which focusses on the interconnections between Sustainable Development Goal 5 (achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls) and 6 (ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all). World Water Week (SWWW) welcomes abstracts from experts and actors of all disciplines who wish to present their work and research at the scientific seminars during SWWW. Evaluation projects Uganda & Tanzania are in!

Tuesday November 15th is marked as Gender Day at COP22. This day is designed to focus on women as leaders, innovators, and agents of change.
