The motto of the Taskforce is “bridging the gap: join forces globally, act locally”.
The main tasks of the Taskforce are:

· actively involve as many women as possible by having local and regional “footholds” - Every woman’s input is important and worthwhile - and by doing so contribute to reaching the goals of Agenda21 and the Millennium Development Goals
. Start and/ or stimulate Projects involving women in Integrated Water Resource Management on all levels – where possible together with other women’s organizations.
