Aqua for All is funding projects of WfWP members
20 January 2010 - Aqua for All has funded parts of a project of the WfWP members CONSAM in Colombia, Tegemeo Women’s Group in Tanzania and the Soroptimists in Ethiopia and Kenya.
The funding is part of the memorandum of understanding between Women for Water Partnership and Aqua for All.

The support of the CONSAM project in Colombia enables CONSAM to start with the implementation of the ecosanitation project.

Tanzanian Ministry
For Tegemeo Women’s Group in Tanzania the funding is specifically meant to further develop and improve the design of the MWeteni project in the Same district. The Tanzanian Ministry of Water and Irrigation is also committed towards this project.

Implementation
In Kenya the Soroptimist have received funding which enables them to start with the implementation of school sanitation for Murumba primary school in Kisumu. Because of the support the Soroptimist project in Ethiopia, Gimbichu District has started with the  implementation of the project.
