Overarching Principles of WfWP
Recognizing and acknowledging the pivotal and central role of women in sustainable development, we adhere to the following principles:

1. Full and equal participation of all Major Groups in society, each in their own specific role(s) and the promotion of social and gender equity and equality
2. People are in the centre of development; one does not develop people, people develop themselves
3. Water in all its uses, & sanitation and hygiene are the entry point for sustainable human development
4. Collaboration and partnership(s) with women and their organisations across diversities and complementarities
