WfWP and Rio+20: Prepping the Dutch special Women's delegate
Ever since 1946, WfWP member NVR (the Netherlands Women's Council) has been trusted to selecting and prepare the government's special Women's delegate for United Nations commissions and world conferences such as Rio+20. WfWP was involved in prepping the current delegate, Jolein Baidenmann, for her task: representing the women of The Netherlands at Rio+20.
Jolein Baidenmann (38) studied international and European law and advises on sustainability and international collaboration. She was involved in the preparation of the Women's delegate for the UN Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD) of 2009 and supported the Women's delegate at the Copenhagen climate summit that year. Further information is available (in Dutch) on the website of the Netherlands Women's Council (follow this link).
