Women for Water Partnership coordinated civil society pillar at the 2015 annual UN Water conference
The annual UN Water conference, which is organised by the UN Water for Life Decade Programme (UNW-DPAC) took place from 15 to 17 January in Zaragoza, Spain.
The conference marked the closure of the International Decade for Action, Water for Life 2005 – 2015. The annual UN Water theme is dedicated to Water and Sustainable Development this year, and is placed in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are going to be decided this year. An important reason for the Women for Water Partnership to be part of the conference and to provide our input in various sessions.
