My role in the Steering Committee is Treasurer. I am working close together with our President.  If we take decisions during the SC or GA, it is my task to control if it is in line with the budget. This last three years I also manage the Secretariat. As I am the contact person of the Dutch member organisations, I take care of a close communication with them.
 
My personal drive to be a member of the Steering Committee is to give a meaningful contribution to carrying out the vision and mission of WfWP: to gain more women in an important role in achieving equitable access to water for all and for all uses. I use my network to tell about WfWP and try to get commitment for our work. Although (drinking) water is not an issue in the Netherlands, the effects of the climate change are more and more visible. WfWP is an entry point to make women organisations in the Netherland aware what they can do about it and how they can support other women worldwide to help them in water issues.
