Medium and Sanitas is a Romanian organisation registered in 2007 that aims to contribute solutions to cross-border water conflicts in Eastern Europe.
M&S advocates these interstate issues within the European Union, provides recommendations on legislative matters, monitors the implementation of the drinking water law in Romania and actively engages in reducing health effects of water pollution.
M&S conducts lectures for children and their mothers regarding Water Safety Plan (WSP) for wells and small water supplies located in rural areas and initiates public debate on WSP. It has created educational models for school holiday training sessions on WSP and developed partnership projects with local authorities to help reducing water pollution in order to protect water resources in the country.
