Soroptimist International joined the Women for Water Partnership

WfWP is happy to announce that the Soroptimist International joined the Women for Water Partnership. With a vision to support women and girls to achieve their individual and collective potential, Soroptimist International transforms lives through its network of over 75,000 volunteer club members, in 133 countries and territories. Working at a local, national and international level, SI educates, empowers and enables opportunities for women and girls in order that they may realise aspirations, and have an equal voice in creating strong, peaceful communities worldwide. Soroptimist International advocates for human rights and gender equality and at the heart of Soroptimist International’s advocacy is its work across six UN Centres, in which 13 Representatives ensure that the voices of women and girls around the world are included in international decision making. Soroptimist International collaborates with other like-minded organisations on issues of mutual concern, working together towards our common aspirations for women.
