Milestones
Vrouwen van Nu's activities aim to educate, inform, raise funds, campaign, advocate, connect, organise, cooperate and share knowledge. A fine example is the initiation of Agriterra, an organisation that shares knowledge and experience with farmers in developing countries – from farmer to farmer. Agriterra supports farmer organisations worldwide in their battle against poverty. Knowledge was shared among others with farmers in Nepal, Vietnam, Peru and the Netherlands.
Other current projects include:
- Campaign against food waste
- Support for rural women in Peru
- Advocate for LGBTI rights
- Establishment of a women’s organisation in Belarus
